Our process summary

Step 1: Get in touch!

Email is usually the best way to connect (we are often up on ladders and lifts during regular daytime hours).  We typically respond within 3 business days.

Step 2: Provide a brief description of your project

Send any photos, measurements, and descriptive words to help begin the conversation. An idea of budget and scheduling expectations are also helpful to guide the process and scope.

Step 3: Let’s meet!

Ideally, we will meet on-site and discuss the project in-person. This initial meeting is free of charge.

Step 4: Review Idea Board and Initial Proposal

Depending on the scope of the project, greenyellowblue will compile reference images, color palette, and sketches. The Idea Board functions as a visual tool to help guide the creative direction of the project. From the feedback, a Proposal may be developed. The Proposal will include an estimate for the project (including all labor and materials, where applicable) and a timeline.

Step 5: Deposit

Most projects require a 25% deposit of the estimate prior to the start of work. Once the deposit has been received, the design work begins.

Step 6: Design

The design or samples are reviewed with the client. Most projects include design labor and a set number of samples in the overall scope. If additional design time or samples are requested, there may be a separate hourly fee for labor outside of the agreed upon scope.

Step 7: Prep and painting

Once the design has been approved and a start date scheduled, the on-site work begins!

Step 8: Enjoy your fresh paint!

We request that any remaining amount due be paid within 30 days of the project completion.

Please refer to our Care Guide for additional information on how to best clean and preserve your mural/sign/faux/etc.
